Holcros (Discover Cycling)

We were asked to develop a set of illustrations for an online bicyle sales business.

The illustrations needed to be vector in nature and be suitable for both print and web.

Initially the illustrations were used to help provide customers with a basic explanation of model types and as an aid to sizing with charts for pre purchase and wheel sizing.

Approach

The illustrations needed to build upon a standard house style and feature set so that comparisons between different models could be easily made.

It was also decided these illustrations would not apply too much detail and focus on the core features for comparison.

Solution

A simple side view employing proportionality for comparative purposes was employed.

Furthermore the colour scheme was also simplified so that it would contrast on all backgrounds and did not interfere with the ability to clarify features

Results
